Efficiency and Effectiveness
West Yorkshire Sport is committed is continuously improvng our performance and servcies. In recent years we have achieved two accreditation awards which ensure that we enhance, improve and continue to improve the quality of the services we give to our customers.
These two initiatives are:
Quest
Quest which is an accreditation only awarded to sporting organisations that demonstrate that they offer a quality service measured against strict standards of UK-wide best practice, and prove that they are improving service over time.
TAES (Towards an Excellent Service)
TAES represents sport and leisure organisations and partnerships working towards providing an excellent service. TAES is not a product, or a scheme or even a process, it is a journey of improvement in all aspects of the way the organisation or partnership operates in order to achieve excellent results.
In November 2005 West Yorkshire Sport was awarded "Fit for Purpose" status by Sport England. The award was presented by RT Hon Richard Caborn MP, Minister for Sport.
