We are looking to appoint at Scale 5.
This post is Fixed Term for 3 years, dependant upon funding.
You will be working 37 hours per week, including evening and weekend work as needed to meet the needs of the Trust.
Kirklees Active Leisure in partnership with Sport England currently has an exciting opportunity to appoint an Assistant Sports Development Officer within Kirklees Active Leisure.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to co-ordinate, develop and deliver a multi agency approach to sport development for the Deighton Sports Arena.
A key area of the work will be facilitating the provision of new and exciting sustainable activities. You will work with a variety of national groups and organisations alongside local communities to ensure that sporting opportunities for all sections of the diverse Kirklees community are maximised.
Applicants must hold a "Dry Sports level 2" coaching Qualification, or equivalent, and the willingness to gain a range of National Governing Body Qualifications.
