£16,000 - £18,000pa (3 year contact – 37.5hrs per week)
Giants in the Community are looking to recruit three full time enthusiastic community development officers to enhance the ambitious plans the department has for the future.
The successful applicants will be responsible for the delivery of quality rugby league coaching in a variety of settings within the local community. A professional approach in contributing to the planning and organisation of rugby league development across the local area is required. The role will include developing other key areas including Health, Education and Social Inclusion. In particular the applicant will be required to build positive relationships with partners including schools and colleges, local amateur rugby league clubs and other community sector organisations.
The post will be funded from February 2010 for 3 years with many opportunities available for personal development. The post will be subject to an enhanced CRB check. Driving License and Rugby League UKCC Coaching Qualification are essential (UKCC Level Two preferred).
