Leeds United Football in the Community currently has a full time vacancy for a Project Officer/Coach.
The purpose of the role is to deliver, generate and manage Leeds United Football in the Community project activities.

Community/Schools Project Officer & Coach
(1 year fixed term contract with review of contract renewal at end of completed year)
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
Hours: 38 hours per week.
The job requires evening and some weekend work
The key responsibilities for the post will include:
- Ensuring the effective development, implementations, maintenance, delivery and monitoring of the project activities.
- Ensuring all relevant quality standards are met in coaching, monitoring and evaluation.
- Promoting and expanding projects and activities in line with the strategic direction of Leeds United Football in the Community.
- Managing the administration and providing reports and information as requested in line with policies and procedures.
- Delivery of a totally inclusive schools football coaching programme.
The successful candidates will have a passion for working with children, community groups, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to network and build effective relationships, developing positive partnerships within the community.
You will be qualified at the Football Association UEFA ‘B’ Level 3 Coaching Award, be a registered member of the Football Association Coaches Association (FACA) and be a qualified JFO tutor.

EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Experience of managing project activities
- Experience of networking and partnership work
- Experience of implementing, evaluating and monitoring programmes and of producing statistics and reports.
- Experience of co-ordinating groups of staff
- Experience in working with children and young people
- Experience in the delivery of inclusive football coaching sessions designed to meet the needs of young people
Desirable
- Experience of public relations and marketing
- Experience of working within a social inclusion environment (e.g. with referral agencies, voluntary sector organisations, police and probation services, youth services etc.)
- Experience of working in the community with people who have very few opportunities and who are not achieving through conventional means.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Football Association UEFA ‘B’ Level 3 Coaching Award
- Registered member of the Football Association Coaches Association (FACA)
- Qualified Junior Football Organiser (JFO) Tutor
- Clean drivers license
- CRB
Desirable
- FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football Tutor
