Competition Manager – fixed term until 31 March 2011

Pennine & Newsome School Sport Partnership, Holmfirth High School

£24,402 - £26,016 plus travel allowance

We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative sports practitioner to work strategically across our two school sports partnerships in West Yorkshire. You will be working closely with the SSP Partnership Development Managers, School Sports Coordinators and National Governing Bodies and will facilitate links with local clubs, school sports associations and local authority personnel and other community providers.  As such you must be able to demonstrate knowledge of competition framework, sports performance structures and school sports partnerships.

The successful person will need to be highly organised, able to prioritise and to manage a range of projects at any one time. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver projects within timescales are essential to these jobs.

You will need to travel when required.
