These posts are Fixed Term Contracts until 31 March 2011.
Applicants will be asked to indicate their preferred areas within the application process. These postholders will be employed by the individual host school.
We are looking for talented individuals to help manage and co-ordinate the implementation of an extensive programme of competitions with the aim of increasing the number of young people engaged in high quality competitions.
We are looking for self-motivated and innovative PE or sports development professionals with the ability to work strategically across at least two specified school sports partnerships in West Yorkshire. You will be working closely with the SSP Partnership Development Managers and School Sports Coordinators and will facilitate links with local clubs, school sports associations and local authority personnel and other community providers.
The postholders will need to be highly organised, able to prioritise and to manage a range of projects at any one time. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver projects within timescales are essential to these posts.
An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure will be required for this post. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
Interviews to be held week commencing 14 April 2008.
Salaries and Conditions of Service are subject to review pending the implementation of Single Status.
