We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach to teach Dance and Gymnastics from reception to year 6 covering teacher’s Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA).

Job Title: Dance/Gym Sports Coach to deliver Primary School PE
Terms: Flexible terms, full time or part time post
Location: Bradford
Salary: £14,000 to £17,868 pa. full time equivalent
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and exciting local sports provision.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach to teach Dance and Gymnastics from reception to year 6 covering teacher’s Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA).
The successful candidate will be required to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum to school children. Coaches will also be involved in organising and delivering extra-curricular activities both in and out of term time.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
• An enthusiasm for working with children
• Experience of coaching / teaching children and young people
• The ability to manage a diverse workload
• Commitment and flexibility
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The ability to communicate effectively
Qualifications desirable are:
• NGB level 2 or equivalent
• Dance specific award
• Gymnastics specific award
• Several NGB level 1 awards
• Child protection
• Equity in coaching
• First Aid
Relevant induction training provided prior to commencement.
