Activity and Community Development Team
We are looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard working individuals to the following two positions within the Activity and Community Development Team based at Spring Hall, Halifax:
Facility Development Officer
Scale 6 £21,412 to £22,845 (subject to job evaluation/pay award pending)

This is an exciting opportunity that has arisen in order to continue the development of the athletics facility that was opened in March 2007 at Spring Hall. The successful applicant will need to possess the flair and enthusiasm necessary to promote and market the use of the facility and develop associated activity programmes around athletics and other activities.
The post holder will require a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant area of work with experience in facility management and marketing and in the management of health and safety issues. You should also have experience in organising athletics or other similar events and in the development of programmes for target groups. You should also possess experience in sports development initiatives and programmes.
You must also be educated to A level standard (or equivalent) with a minimum of GCSE grade A-C in English and Mathematics.
