Gymnastics England is seeking to recruit the following full time posts:

Regional Workforce Development Co-ordinators for:-
North West Region
Yorkshire Region
East Region
London Region
CL4
Starting salary £17,806-£20,709
(London weighting applies to the London Region post)
2 year fixed term contracts (continuation subject to funding)

Summary

Gymnastics England is a wholly owned subsidiary of British Gymnastics and is responsible for delivering the Whole Sport Plan for Gymnastics in England 2009 – 2013.

The Whole Sport Plan 2009 – 2013 seeks to ensure a robust and seamless pathway for all those involved in gymnastics in England.

Gymnastics England works directly with the 10 English Gymnastics Regions and club network, consisting of 1087 affiliated clubs (with over 150,000 members). There are currently over 16,000 active qualified coaches in England and a large volunteer workforce including Judges, Officials, Event organisers and day to day club helpers. Supporting and developing this workforce is the key to achieving our aims:
• To increase and sustain participation in our sport
• To improve quality of provision
• Improve performance throughout the pathway 

The Role

• The key role is to build a sustainable 'people based' infrastructure through providing an education and development service in a given specified region

• To audit, plan for, and support the recruitment, training and deployment of coaches, officials and volunteers in the region.

• To organise and oversee the administration of courses, clinics and assessments in the region

• To implement ongoing training needs analysis to determine the skills gaps and shortages within the gymnastics workforce in the region

The Person

Gymnastics England is looking for someone with good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and that has the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and local partners.  As a Regional Workforce Development Co-ordinator, you will need to have a good knowledge of workforce development, be organised,  have accurate administration skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
