Sports Development Officer (Priority Communities - Kirklees)
Kirklees Council are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to co-ordinate, develop and deliver a multi-agency approach to sport in priority communities in Kirklees. Applicants will be required to work regular unsocial hours including school holidays, weekends and evenings, and must hold a current full driving licence. The post is based at the Stadium Leisure Complex.

Scale 4/6 - £16536 to £22845 per annum
We are looking to appoint at Scale 5 - £18907 per annum
37 hours per week

Key areas of work will be assisting in increasing participation in sporting activities amongst identified priority communities in Kirklees, enhancing and developing partnerships and the co-ordination and delivery of activity sessions.
Applicants must have a National Governing Body accredited level 2 coaching qualification in any sport with a broad knowledge / experience in other sports.
