3rd British Learning Disability Swimming Championships & Festival of Swimming
Mencap Sport, Special Olympics GB and DSISO GB are pleased to invite you to enter the 3rd British Learning Disability Swimming Championships & Festival of Swimming.
Saturday, 12th and Sunday 13th July 2008, Ponds Forge - Sheffield
There are two sections to the competition:
• Elite – for swimmers who hold a valid National (UKSA) or International (INAS/IPC) registration. Any
questions on eligibility/registration should be addressed to Mencap Sport
• Festival – for swimmers who meet the criteria to swim as an athlete with a learning disability but do not hold a valid National(UKSA) or International (INAS/IPC) registration.
In a change from previous years, all races (elite and festival) will be combined into Time Banded Heats.
All events will be run as Heat Declared Winners except all 50m races and 100m Freestyle races where the top 8 elite swimmers will progress to a Final.
Results for all Mencap members will be used to select the team for Geneva.
