Bradford Dragons Eurocamp 2008
Welcome to the 2008 Bradford Dragons Eurocamp
brochure. We are pleased to present this summer’s basketball camp run by Dr Laszlo Nemeth, the former England men’s basketball coach, as part of his series of summer Eurocamps throughout Europe.
The Dragons club have long been admirers of Dr Nemeth as an inspirational basketball coach and we look forward to helping deliver the 2008 Eurocamp and to build on the success of the last four camps.
In order to improve even further the quality of the 2008 Eurocamp, Dr Nemeth is bringing in top flight coaches for 2008 to work with the campers to improve their game.
Also new this year will be a numbered reversible vest and matching shorts for every camper to keep, which is why the cost has increased from the 2007 Eurocamp. We are also expanding the camp to 150 places and using seven full size courts in 2008.
We are particularly keen to bring in more overseas campers and UK campers who will live with Dragons club families or dormitory accommodation at the Zara Sports Centre whilst at the camp. We look forward to you booking a place on what will be an outstanding and memorable basketball camp.

ABOUT THE BRADFORD DRAGONS
Bradford Dragons was established in Summer 2001 in response to the demand from a number of under 16 Year 11 players from Beckfoot school near Bingley who wanted to play basketball matches against similar age players across West Yorkshire during 2001/2.
For the 2007/8 season, Dragons have entered the EBL at the senior men, U18, U16 and U14 levels and the Dragons 2 men and Dragon’s women’s teams will again play in the Leeds league. Dragons are also running U18 and U14 girls and U13 boys and U10’s girls and boys development squads.
Now with 6 teams in competition and 4 teams in development the Dragons are aiming to exceed 202 EB registrations during 2007/8 and to achieve EB 4 star accreditation. Dragons are currently an EB 3 star club with Sport England Clubmark status.
Many players from across West Yorkshire [and beyond] attended this camp in 2007 and improved their game as a result which in turn helped the respective teams they play for, so hopefully it is in all our interests to get as many West Yorkshire [and beyond] players under 23 years of age on this camp!
