Bronte BigK Mountain Bike Challenge
Take on a superb mountain bike challenge on Sunday 21st September 2008 amidst the beautiful scenery of Bronte Country and raise funds for Sue Ryder Care.
Challenge Ride – approx. 31 Miles. Starts in Oxenhope, over the moors to Widdop, around to historic Wycoller and back via Stanbury: a challenging mix of tracks, trails and minor roads. Three feed stations/checkpoints. Map of route provided. Complementary meal at the finish.
Registration from 8.30am at Bay Horse Inn, Oxenhope.
Group start at 9:00am for those who want to, (this to be confirmed). Then staggered starts from 9.00am through until last start at 10.00am.
£20 minimum donation to participate. Please enter in advance. Limited entries on the day (£5 additional surcharge). Must be 14 years and over.
Family/Fun Ride – approx. 11 miles. Starts in Oxenhope with a scenic loop towards Haworth and surrounding moorland: a mainly road route with some lumps and bumps but suitable for the family and younger children as well (children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult).
Registration from 9.30am at Bay Horse Inn, Oxenhope. Complementary meal at the finish.
Staggered starts from 10.00am. Last start 10.30am.
