Local Government and the 2012 Games: More than Sport, More than 2012

The LGA's Annual Conference is taking place on 30 June in Harrogate where there will be a workshop about the 2012 Games.
From the Cultural Olympiad to hosting a Pre-Games Training Camp, inspiring young people to be more active, or supporting local businesses to win Games-related contracts, there are many ways our area could benefit from the Games. Nicky Hughes, Head of Government Relations, London 2012 and Alan Bucknall from Government Olympic Executive will be talking at the conference about latest preparations and how your council can help make 2012 an inspiring, relevant and exciting experience for as many people as possible.
