Netball Roadshow comes to Leeds
Calling Netball Enthusiasts! Now is your chance to be coached by some of England’s Top International Netball Players at the first ever International Netball Roadshow!
"What an exciting summer 2008 is going to be! The first ever ‘International Netball Roadshow’ will be starting in July and August at four different venues around the country and we hope you are able to join us in this amazing netballing experience.
"Each roadshow is going to be jam packed full of interesting and exciting things to learn about netball from ball drills to attacking skills as well as shooting techniques and a variety of defending styles. You will also be able to learn how to improve your game away from the netball court through nutritional talks, learning what fitness elements are required for netball, and how to become mentally tough!
"As well as all of this you will get to meet and be coached by some of today’s top International players. You will get top tips to improve your game and learn what it takes to make it to the pinnacle of the sport. You will have the opportunity to have your photo taken and get autographs from all of the coaches. There are also prizes to be won through our end of camp tournament and Netball Quiz!
"Above all, each camp is about having fun whilst keeping fit and healthy. We hope you can make it to one of our roadshows around the country, either for the whole week or just a few days. Every day is action packed from 9am– 4pm so go-ahead and check if there is a venue near you!

The Roadshow will run 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
The cost of attending the camp is £160 for the whole week or £40 per day.
What will each camp involve?
Coaching from top England International Players.
Specialist technical sessions covering basic ball handling, attacking skills, defending skills, shooting technique, working the shooting circle and defending inside and outside the circle.
Tactical sessions including Centre Pass Attack & Defence, Attacking & Defending from the Back Line and Through court Attack & Defence.
Theory Sessions covering topics such as Nutrition, Fitness for Netball, Sports Psychology, Game Analysis.
Netball Quiz with prizes to be won!
Each Camp will finish with a competitive tournament with teams receiving technical and tactical tips from the England players!
Each participant will receive a netball goody bag!
