Peter Sheppard Memorial Mixed Netball Tournament
This tournament has been set up to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Relief, and to bring together males and females in our wonderful game of Netball.

Mixed netball is on the up, and I actually ran a couple of tournaments a few years ago, which were very successful, but I have not been able to run either a tournament or league of late.
So why set the tournament up again?
In August of 2007, sadly Peter was taken from us, by that awful disease CANCER, I made a promise then that I would reinstate the tournament in Peter's name and raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer unit in Halifax. The Macmillan nurses were a source of comfort and support in Peter's last few weeks and without them things could have been much harder to cope with.
As Peter was very much a family man and loved to have the children around him, I thought it would be fitting to make this a family day out as well, so if you would like to have a stall, or activity running on the day then please feel free to contact me with your suggestions.
