Bradford U13 Girls win while boys take second at WY Basketball Games
The Bradford U13 boys comfortably beat the Kirklees U13 boys but crashed to defeat against a strong Leeds U13 boys team who won the West Yorkshire U13 Basketball Games.
However, after the Leeds U13 girl’s team had narrowly defeated Kirklees U13 girls 22 to 20 points after a tense fight back by Leeds, the Bradford U13 girl’s team comfortably defeated a tiring Kirklees U13 girl’s team to win 45 to 22 points.
Bradford then played the Leeds U13 girls in the final game of the girl’s triangular tournament. Bradford eventually overcame a spirited Leeds resistance to win by 39 to 23 points and emerged as winners of the West Yorkshire U13 girl’s tournament.

The following players [born in 1995 or later] were selected for the West Yorkshire squads to play in the all Yorkshire tournament at EIS in Sheffield on Saturday 14th June. A U13 boys and a U13 girls team will then be selected at this tournament to represent Yorkshire in an All England tournament later in the year.
