Who are your Yorkshire Icons of sport?
Do you know anybody who you think should be a Yorkshire Icon? Yorkshire Bank want to hear bout ordinary people who make an extraordinary difference in their local community as part of their search for iconic Tykes.
They are particularly interested in sport and music, and they have asked Sport England to be their sport "partner".
For this to work, it would involve encouraging nominations in sufficient numbers that would make it worth having a category that is purely about sport.
Who better to ask than ourselves to drum up some nominations?
It could be anyone, a nurse, a teacher etc, OR of course a sports coach, official, adminsitrator, etc.
So let them know about the unsung heroes who voluntarily give up their time to help others.
