Basketball
The West Yorkshire Basketball Development Group was formed in September 2002 with the aim of increasing the number of players and the quality of the service for basketball across the County.
Click here to view the West Yorkshire Basketball Plan. The plan is aimed at 13 to 15 year old boys and girls and over the next five years the Group will develop:
- Strong school leagues in each district
- 40 junior basketball clubs
- 10 central venue leagues
- 5 District squads West Yorkshire squads
- A West Yorkshire junior wheelchair basketball club
- A West Yorkshire Performance Club
- 100 new basketball coaches.
