The Yorkshire & North East Counties Powerlifting Federation is the official body for Powerlifting and Bench Press. We are affiliated to the GBPF and thereby to the IPF who sanction lifting in the World Games etc.

“To equally foster competitive achievement in Powerlifting and to promote the opportunity for all to enjoy the wider benefits of using weights, within its geographical region.
We seek to support all serious Powerlifters in their competitive ambitions, in relevant age, gender, ability, disability, occupational or other groups, and to maximize success in national competition.
We seek to share the benefits of using weights, notably physical well-being, character building and confidence, with all who would wish to do so, in a healthy drug-free environment.”
