We love technology like we love our family - and probably know just as little about how it really works.
So here is a random selection of shortcuts, hints and tips that may make your life easier....
Useful shortcuts for smooth mixed media presentations:
Want to play videos in the middle of a powerpoint presentation?
1. f5 plays a ppt presentation full screen
2. space bar advances ppt one page
3. backspace moves a ppt presentation back
4. mousewheel scrolls fwd and back through ppt
Using Quicktime videos in presentations?
5. 'ctr' + 'F' makes a quicktime .mov full screen and starts playing it
6. space bar plays/pauses video
7. 'alt' + 'tab' cycles between open programmes
By combining these, you should be able to switch from a powerpoint to a video and back again without scrabbling around on the desktop.
You can also use step 7 to switch between two powerpoint presentations smoothly.
